Re-Invent Yourself!

“Re-Invent Yourself! Workplace Solutions for Women” is a new program launched by WomanSage. Goals are to give women tools to regain and maintain control of their lives; to make smart decisions about their future; to take advantage of education and financial guidance opportunities. This is the only career program nationally focusing exclusively on transitions for mature women. Our meetings are generally held on the first Tuesday evening of each month at 6 PM and always include networking; table topics of importance to midlife women; time for the speaker and a recap at each table. We adjourn by 8 p.m.
At our March event we will learn from Vivian Pham, Community Development Officer for Wells Fargo, how to “Manage Money When You Don't Have Much of it."
Let's face it, who wants to talk about their money in this economy? Nobody! How about ways to make the best with what we have by having a plan to stretch each dollar? The truth is, when times are tough we need help with finances more than ever! And no one understands this better than Vivian Pham, Community Development Officer for Wells Fargo. Vivian will join us to discuss straightforward ways we can do more with less during these challenging times.
Topics to be covered include:
- Control Finances with a Spending Plan (everything goes better with a plan!)
- Money Safety and Security Tips (don't lose what little we have)
- Using Credit Wisely (avoid the temptation of building even more debt!)

With prepayment, the fee to attend this event is $5 for WomanSage members and $10 for non-members. If you pay at the door, add $3 to each rate. A light dinner will be served.

Directions to the Assistance League of Newport-Mesa: From the 55 Freeway South (going toward Newport Beach, take the Victoria/22nd Street off ramp and make an immediate right turn (sharp right turn) on to Fairview Road. The Assistance League Center will be on your right at 2220 Fairview. Parking is free and there will be a security guard to direct you to the meeting room upstairs.
Note the Assistance League Thrift Shop will open from 4 to 6 p.m. before the Re-Invent Yourself! meeting.
